Arana AI builds AI applications with one idea in mind: they should be accessible to everyone. It works on two fronts.
Arana Assistant
For blind, visually impaired and elderly people, the Arana Assistant lives where they already are: WhatsApp and email. No new app to learn. Send it a photo and it describes what’s in it, send a document and it reads it out, ask a question and it does the research for you.
It’s used by more than 600 people in over 30 countries and supports 58 languages.
What I did
I developed the web search module for the Arana Assistant, the part that lets the chatbot look things up online and answer in an accessible way right inside the chat. While at Arana, I started and built EasyAmt with Leon Beckert and Ábel Nagy for Samsung Solve for Tomorrow.
